Established in 1996 The Daily Grind opened in November 1996 by Nancy and Jon Rogers at 3000 San Pedro. In 2006 their lease expired and had to find a new location which they did at 414 Central SE. Since arriving at their new location the menu has grown and they have also expanded into nights in the summer

Here at The Daily Grind we specialize in delicious and creative daily specials for lunch. We are most famous for our scones which are changing what people think of scones. Come in and enjoy an amazing coffee or Espresso drink with one of our famous scones, or come in and try one of our exciting lunch specials.
Owner: Nancy Rodgers
Nancy was born and raised in Albuquerque New Mexico. She was a stay at home mom that raised two kids. During her years at home she baked and baked and baked until in early 1996 she decided she wanted to share her love for baking with the neighborhood. It was a success, The Daily Grind grew to become a neighborhood hot spot till the lease ended in 2006. Changing locations was quite a hurdle for her, but she has come to love the neighborhood that The Daily Grind now calls home. She still loves to share her baking with the human race.
